Player app

The player turns a display into a screen on the network. It plays from the device's own storage, so a dropped connection doesn't stop the loop.

For Android media players and signage displays.

Requires Android 7.0 or later.

The first time, Android asks you to allow installs from unknown sources.

For PCs and media players driving a display.

Requires Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and administrator rights to install.

If SmartScreen stops the installer, choose More info, then Run anyway.

From a new device to a playing screen in four steps.

Get the pairing key
In the pTraxx CMS, open the screen and copy its pairing key.

Install the player
Download the app for the device above, install it and open it.

Register the screen
Enter the pairing key in the Screen key field and choose Register screen.

Play
The screen plays its playlist once it's live, and reopens the player by itself after a restart.
